YerazArt Fellow, Daniel Melkonyan, was awarded First Prize at the Ninth International Competition for Trumpet Players in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. Melkonyan was supported by YerazArt to participate in the competition which was held from November 6 - 10, 2017. Melkonyan was one of the young talents featured by YerazArt at their 10th Anniversary Celebration in October 2016 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This latest achievement marks another milestone in Daniel's professional path, as he prepares to further his education in Germany starting next Fall under the guidance of Reinhold Friedrich.
